We stayed in Orchard Hotel for 8 nights. LOCATION – super accessible, it’s along J. P. Laurel Street where many jeepney will pass by here, walking distance to SM Lanang, one jeepney ride to Abreeza. Robinson’s is just across. There are cafès, 7 Eleven, food stores within the area. STAFF – very accommodating and helpful staff. We had a scheduled passport appointment at SM Lanang so I decided to book a hotel nearby. We found the place great for an overnight stay. Room was clean. No complimentary water inside the room but there was a water dispenser in each floor lobby. The hot water was a plus because I had no problems making formula for my baby. There was hot and cold shower too. Moreover, the massage spa was a catch and their massage services was superb, perfect for back pains due to travelling! This is the best budget friendly hotel I’ve been in Davao. The room is very spacious. It can be considered as a studio unit if it were to be rented as one. This is my second time booking at this hotel because I like the way their staff, especially John, treats me. Thanks for him, and I enjoyed my stay from the easy check-in and getting details for breakfast until I checked out early in the morning. Their chef was also very kind, because I requested that instead of having breakfast on the rooftop, he personally deliver my breakfast to my room. I also asked housekeeping for extra water, which they quickly delivered to my room. Even the guard helped me get a taxi in the middle of rush hour and pouring rain.
